Position: Control Room Operator
Sheridan County Detention Center is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Control Operator. Part-time and fill-in available. This position requires shift work including holidays and weekends.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES:
- Help maintain the safety and security of Detention staff and inmates by monitoring cameras throughout the facility
- Maintain accurate records of officer and inmate movements and interactions
- Help Detention Officers enforce detention center rules
- Must have communication skills to interact with fellow staff, inmates and general public
- Supervise inmate workers during inside work activities
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Operate 2-way radios
Job Type: Part-time, Fill-in and Full-time
Pay Rate: $18.44 per hour
